Yesterday the wind picked up after lunch, so the crane had to shut down. Today the team were back to lift the windows into place and fit the last roof trusses. The windows are looking really good!

Day 1 Frame building
By lunch time on the first day they had put up most of the ground floor outside walls! By the end of the day, even though the weather turned wet and windy, they had completed all the ground floor outside and inside wall frames, as well as some of the steel work for the first floor. Which bedroom would you pick?

Where?
We are building a house in Wellbank Park, Cumbria. On the west side of the Lake District. About a mile from the sea. not really close to anywhere! Very beautiful though. A site with about 40 plots for self builders. We are not the first, but many more to come.
